They propose a fee of <br />$9,500 and reimbursement of expenses estimated <br />to be approximately $1,500 not to exceed <br />$2,000. Mr. Jannotta's firm has had about 12 <br />years experience in working with the City. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, a <br />pr sal from Nicholas C. Jannotta & <br />Associates, Ltd., relating to a housing market <br />analysis in the East Bank Development Area was <br />Mr. Hunt reported that Curtis Products began <br />site preparation for a 60,000 square foot <br />addition to their building in Monroe Park. He <br />also noted that the Business and Technology <br />Center project on LaSalle and Michigan Streets <br />is prog essing along on schedule. <br />Mrs. Jariet Allen was present and expressed <br />comments concerning the location of the <br />TRANSPO bus terminal. She stated that she <br />felt the TRANSPO location should not be moved <br />from its present location. She also stated <br />that if it must be moved from its present <br />locatioa that the use of the lobby of the <br />County City Building would be an appropriate <br />place. <br />Ms. Auburn announced that today was the tenth <br />anniversary of Mr. F. Jay Nimtz serving as a <br />member and as president of the Redevelopment <br />Commission. She noted that it has been to the <br />benefit of the City of South Bend to have <br />someone like Mr. Nimtz willing to dedicate the <br />time anO effort to see the projects through <br />for the City. <br />The Chair recognized Mayor Roger O. Parent. <br />Mayor Parent congratulated Mr. Nimtz and the <br />City of South Bend for his tenure on the <br />Redevelopment Commission.
