St. Clair <br />Superintendent <br />April 6, 1994 <br />Mrs. Ann Puzzello, President <br />South Bend Common Council <br />4th Floor, County -City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Re: An Ordinance of the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, Approving The Sale of <br />Park Property <br />Dear Mrs. Puzzello: <br />I am attaching for filing an Ordinance Approving the Sale of <br />Park Property at Elbel Golf Course. <br />The property formerly served as housing for the Elbel Golf <br />Course golf professional, but. is no longer put to that use and is <br />no longer needed for that purpose. <br />The Park Board has.been approached by a number of <br />individuals. concerning their interest in purchasing the Real <br />Property. <br />At its meeting of April 18, 1994, the Park Board will <br />consider whether to determine the Real Property is required for <br />park purposes and will consider authorizing the sale of the Real <br />Property upon the following conditions: <br />A. That the Real Property be sold at a price not less <br />than its appraised fair market value. <br />B. That all proceeds of the sale of the Real Property <br />be returned to the Park Board and used for park purposes, <br />and the Park Board will be asked to ratify the filing of <br />this Ordinance. <br />301 S.
