SCITY OF SOUTH BEND OFFICE OF THE CLERK Committee Chair Karen L. White made a suggestion to the presenters to gather more information and schedule more meetings with the Committee and Council Members for further discussion of all of the projects that have been identified. Committee Chair Karen L. White turned the meeting over to the Council for any further questions or concerns regarding the presentation from the Community Investment Department. Councilmember Tim Scott spoke about the concerns that he has with some of the projects that were presented during the presentation from the Community Investment Department. Councilmember Sharon L. McBride also spoke about her concerns with some of the projects that were presented in regard to the funding for them. Committee Chair Karen L. White turned the meeting to the public for anyone wishing to ask any questions regarding the presentation from the Community Investment Department. Jordan Giger, 602 S. Edison Street, South Bend, IN spoke about concerns that he has about the exact dollar amount of monies that was allocated and set aside for the Home Repair & Rehab Program. Mr. Parker addressed the questions that Mr. Giger has. Ann Mannix, 724 W. Washington Street, South Bend, IN spoke about the presentation of neighborhood projects from the Community Investment Department, stating that she believes that the three (3) different areas of the presentation had to do with the technical component, where the funding for the projects will come from and then the planning aspect of it to be able to complete the projects.
