White began the Residential Neighborhood Committee meeting by <br /> stating that the purpose of the meeting was to focus on the summarized report that grew out of the <br /> Collective Power of Engagement and Intentional Collaboration. Committee Chair Karen L. White <br /> stated that while going through the report,the focus would be on the findings and recommendations <br /> of the report. Committee Chair Karen L. White stated that there are five(5) critical areas that were <br /> identified based on what we know, what we have experienced and based on what our residents <br /> have told us are Economic Development, Affordable Housing, Youth Engagement & <br /> Employment, Neighborhood Infrastructure, Curbs & Sidewalks as well as Public Safety and <br /> Wellness. While speaking about affordable housing, Committee Chair Karen L.
