Mrs. Kolata explained that the next item is <br />request for the awarding of a proposal in <br />connection with the rehabilitation grant <br />rogram. As you are aware, the grant program <br />ded approximately one year ago. This is a <br />roject where the roof was done as part of <br />e grant and subsequently the roof started <br />o leak. The original contractor, Foundation <br />ock Inc., came back once and fixed the roof <br />ut it has since started to leak again and <br />that contractor has not responded to the <br />Bureau to come back and fix the leak. The <br />contract is still under a one year guarantee <br />I)eriod and the Bureau has retainage from the <br />original contractor to pay for the repair. <br />n a motion made by Mr. Donaldson, seconded COMMISSION APPROVED A CONTRACT <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, a IN THE AMOUNT OF $75.00 TO <br />tract in the amount of $75.00 was awarded JURTIN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />Jurtin Construction Company for 2020 Prairie.FOR 2020 PRAIRIE AVENUE. <br />e. The petition <br />fore you represents the major phase of the <br />location of both Whiteford NationaLease <br />c. and Whiteford Truck Lines Inc. due to <br />e Olive Sample overpass project. The project <br />nsists of the rehab of an existing old A & P <br />ore located at 1901 Western. It also will <br />clude the construction of a new facility <br />approximately 20,000 sq. ft. 119 existing <br />bs will be retained and an estimated 50 new <br />bs will be created. The project cost will <br />approximately $1,120,000. The project is <br />a tax abatement impact area. <br />. Szarwark, attorney for Whiteford, explained <br />e project to the Commissioners and asked <br />they had any questions. <br />Piasecki asked how many trucks would be <br />ning in and out of the property in a 24 hour <br />rind. Mr. Kusnierek replied 10 to 15. <br />Donaldson asked if Whiteford was still con - <br />3ering the 4600 block of Western. <br />.Szarwark said that the 4600 block of Western <br />E�nue will be used by another part of the <br />iteford operation, the Kenilworth dealership. <br />
