An Affidavit of Steve Kollar, owner of <br />th Tri- County News that notice of Public <br />Hearing was published in that weekly <br />nev7spaper on April 1, 1983. <br />4. A certification of Ann Kolata that a Notice of <br />Public Hearing was mailed to the Area Plan Ccm- <br />mission, Board of Works, Board of zoning Appeals, <br />Park Board and Buildinq Commissioner on March 30, <br />1983: A copv of the Notice was also posted on <br />th4 Bulletin Board of the Board of Public Works, <br />13 Floor County -City Buildinq on March 30, 1983. <br />5. An original copv of the Area Plan Commission's <br />Re olution No. 71, which deals with the subject <br />of the Public Hearing. <br />6. A qopV of the Resolution No. 1037 -83 of the <br />Corpon Council of the Citv of South Bend relative <br />to the subject of the Public Nearing. <br />7. A opv of Resolution No. 678 of the Redevelopment <br />Co ssion with a copy of the Development Plan <br />Mrs. K lata informed the Commission that as of 10:00 a.m. today <br />no writ-ten remonstrances with respect to the Commission's <br />action were received. <br />Mr. N' tz recognized and received the various legal <br />notices, publications, certifications and other docu- <br />ments and ordered them entered into the record. <br />Ms Ko ata explained that this is the second reso- <br />lution with respect to amending the East Bank Develop- <br />ment Plan by adding a parcel to the acquisition list. <br />This parcel is located immediatelv north of the East <br />Bank &Porium building and it has a blue metal building <br />on it t the present time. We have added this parcel <br />to the acquisition list for three reasons. <br />(1) There is a problem in keeping the building in its <br />resent location. There is a drainage problem, <br />rain water presently drains off the roof and does into <br />'swells in the ground. These drywells <br />_5_ <br />
