Robinson that a Notice <br />of Public Hearing was delivered to Ms. Billie <br />Janovic of the Area Plan Commission, Ms. Sandra <br />Parmerlee of the Board of Public Works, Ms. <br />Betty Burch of the Board of Zoning Appeals and <br />South Bend Code Enforcement Department, and Ms. <br />Kathleen Bloomer of the Park Department on Jan- <br />uary 12, 1983. A copy of the Notice was posted <br />on the Bulletin Board of the Board of Public <br />Works, 13th Floor of the County -City Building, <br />on January 12, 1983. <br />An original copy of the Area Plan Commission's <br />Resolution No. 70, which deals with the subject <br />of the Public Hearing. <br />A certified copy of Resolution No. 1022 -83 of <br />the Common Council of the City of South Bend <br />relative to the Subject of the Public Hearing. <br />A copy of Resolution No. 668 of the Redevelop- <br />ment Commission with a copy of the Urban Renewal <br />Plan attached. <br />Mr. Nimtz recognized and received the various legal <br />not'ces, publications, affidavits, and other documents <br />and ordered them entered into the record. <br />Mr. Nimtz opened the meeting for any comments or dis- <br />cus ion by the public concerning Area "C" relating to <br />the TRANSPO transfer facility. There were no comments <br />or discussion by the public. <br />Mr. Nimtz opened the meeting for any comments or dis- <br />cus ion by the public concerning Area "F" relating to <br />the former Quality Inn property. <br />Mr. William Farabaugh spoke in favor of the proposed <br />lana use bill as presented. He stated that it would <br />be a great benefit to downtown South Bend to have that <br />property used for such a purpose where numerous in- <br />dividuals would be residents.
