Catalpa _ Upon a motion made by Mrs. Robinson, seconded by Mr. Donaldson and unanimously carried, the bids in c nnection with the Rehabilitation Loan Pro - gram, as listed above, were awarded. e. Commission approval requested for amendment to leaso with Standard Mechanical Contractor, Inc. Mrs. Kolata explained that the next item on the agenda is an addendum to our lease with Standard Mechanical Contractors, Inc. We entered into this lease approximately a year ago, charging Standard Mechanical $1,600 a month rent which they were to put into an escrow account and, if they moved by Nove ber 1, 1982 to a location in the City of South Bend, we were going to refund all of that rent to them. They are not going to be moved by November 1st but they do expect to be moved by December lst. The addendum to the lease says that basically they have substantially complied with what we originally askeJ them to do, which is to relocate in South Bend, and we will refund on November 1st $8,000. When they complete the move we will pay the balance of tat escrow account. The addendum also would not require them to pay rent November lst unless they are still there on December 1st at which time they would have to make the rent payment. Upon a motion made by Mr. Robinson, seconded by Mr. Pias cki and unanimously carried, the amendment to the lease with Standard Mechanical Contractor, Inc., was approved. f. Commission approval uested to award a bid for Department of Redevelopment. -7- FOUR BIDS WERE AWARDED IN CONNECTION WITH THE REHABILITATION LOAN PRO- GRAM THE COMMISSION APPROVED AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE WITH STANDARD MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS, INC.
