S.4 ?$ <br /> AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $187.00 AMONG VARIOUS ACCOUNTS <br /> WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to deliver services to homeless individuals within our community the <br /> City of South Bend received funds from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development for the delivery of such services through various subgrantees. The funds <br /> appropriated in this ordinance will aid in defraying the costs of shelter operation and <br /> maintenance and in providing essential services and assistance in homeless prevention. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br /> of South Bend, Indiana: <br /> Section I. The sum of $187.00 is hereby transferred among accounts as set <br /> forth below: <br /> Reduce the following account: <br /> PROJECT NUMBER DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br /> ES 92 - 2 DISMAS of Michiana $187.00 <br /> TOTAL $187.00 <br /> Increase the following account: <br /> PROJECT NUMBER DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br /> ES 93 - 2 AIDS Task Force of $187.00 <br /> St. Joseph County <br /> TOTAL $187.00 <br /> Section II. No costs will be incurred or funds expended for any of the <br /> programs addressed in this ordinance prior to completion and subsequent certification of the <br /> Environmental Review Process specified in Title Twenty-four (24) Part Fifty-Eight (58) of the <br /> Code of Federal Regulations, containing the Environmental Review Procedures for the <br /> Emergency Shelter Grants Program, and the receipt of an official release of funds from the <br /> U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br /> Section III.
