CITY OF SOUTH BEND OFFICE OF THE CLERK <br /> Ms. Johns replied, I haven't heard anything from MACOG. <br /> Councilmember Broden stated, Okay. <br /> Ms. Johns continued, I'm not sure if they're in the process but we haven't heard from them <br /> personally. <br /> Councilmember Broden followed up, Okay. That might be an area to check for some resources <br /> because I thought we were looking at that on a regional basis. Those kind of, I don't know if you'd <br /> call them brown fields, but those structures that actually have hazardous materials or have had a <br /> history. And then I was wondering with regard to the disparity in and the realignment on the <br /> salaries. You had identified a disparity there. When were those last raised? And then why the <br /> disparity? And you said, I think you said that dated back to 2015? <br /> Ms. Skibins replied, I don't think I said that. <br /> Councilmember Broden replied, Oh I'm sorry, I'm confusing that. But I guess when were the last <br /> raises kicked in? Why the disparity? And is that actually putting people up at the caps or that's just <br /> giving a cushion of? <br /> Ms. Johns replied, It would still be below the other department heads and assistant department <br /> heads. We're just trying to work up towards about what they are at. We don't know when it first <br /> (1St) started,though, or when the last raise was aside from the typical two percent (2%). <br /> Wedidwork with Kyra in Human Resources to come upwith those <br /> Ms. Skibins stated, o numbers, <br /> n <br /> by the way. And I make that assumption sitting <br /> ' important to ask the questions. <br /> here.
