APPOINTMENT OF LEGAL COUNSEL AND STAFF <br />Mr. Nimtz explained that in light of the Home Rule provi- <br />sion con erning City Government, the City Attorney's <br />office will be doing the major portion of Penal work. ):• <br />for the edevelopment Commission, and Mr. Butler wi11 serve <br />as Legal Counsel for the Commission and be present at all <br />meetings. The Commission will enter into a contract with <br />Mr. Butl r,for performance of various duties,at a later <br />date. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Robinson, seconded by Mr. Donald- <br />son and nanimously carried, the following staff members <br />were rea pointed for 1982: <br />Executive Director .................Patrick M. Carey <br />Mayor Pa ent welcomed Mr. Piasecki as the new member <br />of the C mmission and thanked each of the Commissioners <br />for acce ting reappointment to the Commission. <br />Councilman Szymkowiak extended his appreciation to Mr. <br />Piasecki for accepting the Council's appointment to <br />the Commission and congratulated the other members <br />on their reappointment, thanking _them-for their fine <br />work in past years. <br />Councilm n Voorde expressed his happiness in Mr. Piasecki's <br />appointor nt to the Commission. <br />5.
