st . 1904. <br />s <br />SPECIAL SESSION TUESDAY° EVENING AT 7:15 P. M. <br />The Board met in special session at 7:15 P. I. All members present. <br />Dell C. Leer asked to have his name taken off the 44 ft. petition and placed <br />on the 53 ft. petition on the Vistula avenue Brick Pavement. <br />Petition and remonstrance filed�reGarding Vistula avenue Brick Pavement and <br />width of said Vistula avenue. <br />Hearing on Vistula avenue Brick Pavement under Improvement Hesolution,#190 <br />was held and petition and remonstrance as above mentioned was considered. Hearing <br />continued until Friday, mornin- at 10,A. Y. June 24th, 1904. <br />Hearing -on Improvement Resolution.for Brick pavement on Ohio street. from <br />Vichi an abreet to arroll street under Improvement, Resolution No. 1911. <br />Engineer filed his estimated cost on the Improvement for Ohio St. Brick5,000. <br />I <br />In the above matter no remonstrances appeared and no remonstrances were filed <br />The Board therefore find that the benefits to the property and to the City of <br />South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of the improvement and that said <br />Declaratory resolution iss hereby in all thisngs ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Final hearing given on the Assessment Roll for Portage Avenue Pipe Sewer <br />under` Improvement resolution No 154. <br />In the matter of the above improvement no remonstrances were filed. Ryell T. <br />Miller appeared and remonstrated in person stating t1at a tap at --lot No.. 48 <br />was wholly unnecessary and that there wereno bene�fits derived therefrom and that he <br />should be rebated on same. After due --consideration the Board find that the said <br />assessment roll should b e amended allowing Ryell T. Miller a rebate of $10.00 <br />The Board find that the property assessed and as shown on said amended <br />assessment roll in each case respectively is b ene f i t to d in the amount of the <br />assessment, as shown on said roll and that the assessment roll filed May 31st <br />and the final estimate allowed June 21st, 1904 shouldbe and the same is hereby <br />in all things ratifi-id, confirmed and approved. <br />Presi <br />
