March 26th, 1904. <br />First hearing on Condemnation Resolution +15 adopted the llt'; da� of H.rBh, <br />1904, condemning a strip of land as follows: Begin at stone set at in ertl_of <br />East line of Sec. 18 Tp 37 N. R. 3 E. and center of Vistula Avenue. said stone is <br />294.36 ft south of 1/4 sec. corner on East line of said section ttience N. W. <br />889.7 ft to center of East end of Old bridge thence N. 79*25' W. 442.5 feet to 'tone <br />in center of Vistula avenue on the west line of E. 1/2 of S. E. 1/4 Sec. 18 ,T <br />N. R. 3 E. <br />Vistula avenue to be 66ft wide 33 feeet on each side of the above described center <br />line The bea.ri are true bearings turned from the East line of Sec. 18 Tp N. R. 3E <br />using stone center of vistula avenue and Earnsperger street and stone at 1/4 See corn <br />er or 294.36 feet North as a base line. <br />In the above matter no remons trances were filed and no remonstrances ajpe a <br />the Board therefore find ,the said .resoluti on• of appropriation s'^ould be and . y <br />in all things <br />ratified, confirmed eiid approved. and said described property should be and is <br />hereby condemned and appropriated Ypr*-Public use. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 181. <br />RESOLVED by the Boand of Pulbic Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: that <br />an improvement be rude of the kind, sizem location and terminal points as follows: <br />A sewer in and along Sorin street from the St.Joseph River to Emerick street consist- <br />ing of a 42 ilich circular single ring brick sewer, in and along Emerick street from <br />Sorin street to the alley North of Ceder street in and along said alley fromFEmerick <br />street to South Bend Avenue in and alone South Bend avenue from Hill street to Eddy <br />street; on Eddy street from South Bend avenue to Campau street on Campau street <br />from Eddy street to Arthur street. <br />Saidimprovement shall be known and designated as South Bend Avenue Trunk Sewer <br />and shall be constructed according to the plans and specificationd prepared by the <br />City civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids <br />for the execution of the above work shall be published on the 29th day of March and <br />on the 5th day of April, 1904 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the South Bend. <br />Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in <br />the City Hall on the 12 th day of April 1904 at 7:15 P. M. and will receive bids up <br />to lO A. It. on the 6th day of : Yay 1904. <br />Adopted this 25th day of March 1904. <br />BOARD Or PUBLIC WORKS. <br />IMPROVM-TE`_'T RESOLUTION NO 182. <br />RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That <br />an Improvement .be made of the kind; size, location and terminal points as follows: <br />Trunk Sewer in and along East Madison street from St. Louis street to Notre Dame Str. <br />Said improvement shall be known and designated as Madison Street Trunk Sewer <br />and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the <br />City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution_ and proposalsfor bids <br />for the execution of the above work shall be published on the 29th day of March and <br />on the 5th day of April 1904, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and South Band Daily <br />Times.
