Improvement Company. <br />To the Honorable Board of Public Works, <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />Gentlemen: - <br />I am instrueted by the Board of Directors of the Home Improvement Company to <br />say to you that the Home Improvement Company is pleased to offer the City of <br />South Bend for Park purposes the following described tract:- <br />PARKOVASH PLACE PARK as sHown and described on the plat of the First Addition <br />of NAVARRE PLACE. <br />The conditions under which we propose to dedicate this ground to the City <br />are that the City sgall receive, improve and maintain the same for park purposes. <br />If this proposition is acceptable to your Honorable Body, we will be <br />pleased to make the formal dedication. <br />Yours very truly, <br />THE HOME IMPROVEMENT CO. <br />Accepted., By J.E.Neff, Seca <br />Petition filed for Grade, Curb and Walk on Vassar Ave West from Portage Ave to <br />first alley,West of Allen Street. <br />Petition filed for an Electric Light at the Corner of Dtyton and Miami St. <br />and Corner of Calvert and Miami Street. <br />A Plat of the lst Addition of the Navarre Place was filed and approved. <br />Terre I3aute & Logansport Railway Company was ordered to open crossing at <br />Calvert Street formerly Elmira St and plank same. <br />Grand Trunk Railway Company was ordered to place an all-night lamp at the <br />crossing of the Grand Trunk & I. I. & I. Railroads at Ford street crossing. <br />An application of R. S. VanNorstrand for position at Creamatory was filed. <br />Ten Year Boni of James Nelson on West Marion Street Brick Pavement was <br />Approved and Tiled. <br />City Engineer was instructed to ascertain expense for an 8 ft. Ornamental <br />Iron fence for City Cemetery. <br />President. <br />
