Tuesday .....Oct.,20thi 1903. The Board met in regular~ session all- members ;being present,: In the, matter. of the obstructions now, placed i1iMiller-. Court,,,..; Res,olved by the, . Board -that the Chief of Police be instructed to remove all of said obstructions within the street lines of said courtf--without delay. Plat of Smith and Holloways Sub-div. of Lot 7 Kuntsman & Mayers Add. approved. Permission granted the South Bend Mnfg. Co. to -make certain excavations- near the City -Water Wroks reservoirs work to be done under the direction of the City Engineer. Communication received from F.A.Miller, relative to defective material and work- manslsltp on the Monroe street Efrick Pavement. Referred to the City Engineer. The Engineer filed the Assessment Rolls and Final Estimates for the Brick Pave- ment on Thomas street from Chapin street to Walnut street; and on Franklin Place from Washington street to Jefferson Street, under improveme-nt Resolutions +138 and 140 respect- ively. Resolved that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six consectuive.days in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give a hearing on such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 3rd. of November, 19039 at 7:15 P.M. w Resolved further that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 21st. day of October, 1903, in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune stating that this Board will give a.hearing upon the acceptance of such work at its officein the City Hall on Novemebt 3rd, 1903, at 7:15 P.M. �P;resident.
