Saturday...... Oct. 3rd,-1903. <br />In the matter of the proposed street lighting contract; Be it Resolved <br />by the Board of Public Works that the specifications filed this 3rd. day of Oct. <br />1903, and approved by the City'Engineer'be approved by this Board and that notices <br />be published in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune, on. <br />the 3rd. day of October, and on the loth day of October, 1903, stating that this <br />Board will receive bids on said street lighting on the 30th. day of October, 1903. <br />In the matter of the water connections on Monroe street. No remonstrants appeard <br />and no remora trances were filed. The Board find that said connections have been <br />made in conformity with the specificationsof the Board of Public Works and orders 6 <br />of the Common Council, and the _assessm nts roll for said connections filed Sept. Z <br />16thl 19032. should be and the same is hereby mall things ratified, confirmed and <br />approved. <br />In thematter of the Brick Pavement on Marion and Burroughs street, Res. <br />115, postponed from Tuesday last; the Board find that the property of Wm. Knowlton <br />is not benefited in the amount of his assessment by $29.76; Ed. Staley got benefit <br />—ed in the amount of his assessment by $35.00; and Mrs. Frank not benefited in the <br />amount o her assessment by $25.00._.The ,Board incorporated said changes on.said <br />roll, and no further objections being raised against said roll, The Board find . that <br />the assessment roll filed Sept. 16th, 1903, and the final estimate allowed Sept.16, <br />1903, and the assessment roll as amended Oct, 3rd, 1903, should be and the same is <br />hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />President. <br />
