gnturdav.... Auiz. 29th, 1903.. <br />The Board of Public Works met in regular session in the Office of the Board <br />at 10 A.M.. A11 members being present <br />The disposition of the bids for +7 Hose House came up for the Board's first <br />attention. For the building of the hose house in generals Joseph Chierharto being <br />the lowest bidder $5385.00 was given the contract for same. The Standard Electric Co-. <br />was given the contract for wiring same, their bid being $33.00. The bids on the plumb- <br />ing and heating were rejected. <br />The Board having under consideration the confusion resulting from error iu <br />housenumbering throughout the City and the' arrors in the numbering in different new <br />additions in the City, the following resolution was unamiously adopted. <br />Resolved that the City Engineer be and he is hereby instructed to perfect <br />a uniform system of lot numbering throughout the City and report the same to this Board." <br />Petitioi, fur pipe sewer on N.Dame street from Jefferson street to V,yne street <br />was referred to the Engineer for specifications. <br />Petition for Grade, curb and walk on Emerson street from Mishawaka avenue to <br />the St. Joseph river was referred to the L-or specizicati©Lis. - <br />The Vandalia Railway Company were notified to plank the crossing at Kemble ave. <br />The Michigan Central were notified to connect with the Emerick street sewer <br />and do away with the outhouses they are now maintaining at the rear of their passenger <br />station on Emerick street. <br />Board ad journedat 11.30 A.M. <br />AA, • vCi( <br />President. <br />
