Mrs. Kolata summarized recent activities concerning Monroe Sample. A rezoning petition has been filed to rezone the area in conformance with the plans that were adopted in the early part of this year. This should be considered by the Area Plan Commission very soon. Also, a petition has been filed to vacate the alleys of Marietta Street and George Avenue. The Neighborhood Code Enforcement office will be receiving and awar ing demolition bids on Monday, November 2, 1981, for 35 h uses. Mrs. Kol to also explained that about a month ago the Com- mission Nas informed that the Neighborhood Code Enforcement office was assigning a'two person clean -up crew to the Monroe-Sample area. As of October 16, they have cleaned the exterior of 77 properties and the interior of 14 houses. They have gone in and cleaned some of the houses that are wanted f r house moving purposes. Also, they have had to clean pr perties more than once because people have been dumping Jebris onto properties. The crew will continue working n this project for the next few weeks. 8. SET SPECIAL MEETING FOR OCTOBER 27, 1981 AT 9:30'A. M. T- There wi 1 be a special meeting held on Tuesday, October 7 to award the bid on Disposition Parcel No. 1. 9. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING The next commission meeting will be held on Friday, November 6, 1981 at 10:00 a.m. 10. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Com- mission, Mr. Cira made a motion that the meeting be adjourneJ. The motion was seconded by Mr. Donaldson and unanimously carried.
