NEW BUSINESS (continued) <br />k. contjinued... <br />offi ial members of the Committee, but who will serve <br />in a regular capacity so that we.will have additional <br />expertise and points of view expressed on the Commit- <br />tee. We would recommend that the Design Review Com- <br />mittee include someone to represent Southold Heritage <br />Foun ation, Historic Landmarks Foundation and, perhaps, <br />anot er architect to serve on the Committee, as well <br />as s meone to represent the industrial area. <br />Mrs. Hernandez accepted the nomination to serve on the <br />Desi n Review Committee. <br />On a motion made by Mr. Cira, seconded by Mr. Donald- <br />son and unanimously carried, the nomination of Mrs. <br />Glen aRae Hernandez as a member of the Design Review <br />Committee was approved. <br />1. Commission approval requested for the following lease <br />in t I De Monroe -Sam le'Develo merit Area. <br />MRS. Corporation 527 -5272 Columbia 1 -8 $50.00 <br />On a motion made by Mr. Donaldson, seconded by Mr. <br />Cira and unanimously carried, the request for the <br />lease in the Monroe- Sample Development Area was <br />apps ved. <br />7. PROGRESSIREPORTS <br />firs. Kol to explained that Mr. James Conley from Historic <br />Landmarks Foundation of Indiana and Don McManus from <br />Southold Heritage Foundation, Inc., were present to bring <br />the Commission up -to -date on the activities that have <br />taken place in the Monroe- Sample Development Area. <br />Mr. Conley displayed some drawings to the Commission to <br />show what Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana has <br />been doi g during the last 10 weeks. Drawings were dis- <br />played slowing the area as it presently exists today and <br />also dra ings showing what the area could look like with <br />infill i eluding construction or houses that are moved <br />to these sites. Also on the drawings were present <br />10 <br />11 -1 -81 <br />LEASE AGREEMENT IN THE <br />MONROE- SAMPLE DEVELOPMENT <br />AREA WAS APPROVED <br />
