Kolata: You have in your packets the
tabulation sheet for bids opened by the Bureau
of Housing. The bids were based on a particular
set of specifications. The architects, in
drawing up those specifications, also drew up
a couple of alternatives. They were concerned
that perhaps when the bids came in they would
not be able to afford all of the work that they
warted to have done, and so they provided for a
co ple of options. .However, the low bid from
Co lip Electric, in the amount of $59,500, does
to e into account all of the items that were
originally scheduled, and the Bureau of Housing
is recommending approval of a contract for that
am unt.
Mr. Robinson made a motion that a contract for
el ctrical renovation of the Y11CA in the amount
of $59,500 be approved and awarded to Colip
El ctric Company.
