• ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CREATING THE GOLF COURSE DIVISION WITHIN THE PARK MAINTENANCE FUND AND APPROPRIATING MONIES FROM THE PARK MAINTENANCE DIVISION TO THE GOLF COURSE DIVISION WITHIN THE PARK MAINTENANCE FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA eux = YEAR 1994 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT The Common Council of the City of South Bend has determined it to be in the best interest of the City of South Bend and to be in the best interest of the City's Park Department to establish within the Park Maintenance Fund a separate division for budgetary purposes known as the Golf Course Division and to transfer to the various, accounts within that department various funds currently on deposit with the Park Maintenance Division within, that Fund. The creation and funding of this new Golf Course Division_ will allow for a more orderly accounting of golf course-related expenditures. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana as. follows: Section I. That the Golf Course Division is created as a new and separate division classification, within the Park Maintenance Fund. Section II. That the following accounts be adjusted as described below: PARK MAINTENANCE FUND DEPARTMENT/DIVISION CLASSIFICATION INCREASE DECREASE Golf Course Division Personnel $719,191.93 Supplies 238,310.00 Contractuals 314,428.10 Capital 108,979.00 Administrative 29,394. 31 Park Maintenance Personnel $719,191.93 Department Supplies 238,310. 00 Contractuals 314,428.10 Capital 108,979. 00 Administrative 29,394.31 Section III .
