Leszczynski, Director <br /> January 24, 1994 <br /> Members of the Common Council <br /> 4th Floor, County-City Building <br /> South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br /> Dear Council Members: <br /> The Department of Public Works is requesting your favorable consideration of the <br /> attached ordinance appropriating funds from the Sewage Works Bond Fund, and from the <br /> Wastewater General Revenue Fund to the Chippewa Basin and Sewer Construction Project. <br /> Primarily, funds from the Wastewater Bond, as well as interest earned on the <br /> investment of these funds will be utilized, totaling approximately $ 530,000.00. These funds <br /> are available as a result of the recent refinancing of the Wastewater Bond Issue. Due to your <br /> solid fiscal stewardship, we were able to secure AAA bond rating on the refinancing, enabling <br /> us to free up this funding. The remaining necessary funds of$255,520 will come from <br /> Wastewater's General Revenue Account for Construction. These combined funds totaling <br /> $785,520 will fund construction for the Chippewa Basin and Sewer Project. <br /> If you have any questions please contact me at your convenience.
