ORDINANCE NO. 21/7 7- 99 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $785,520.00 FROM THE <br /> SEWAGE WORKS BOND FUND AND THE WASTEWATER <br /> GENERAL REVENUE FUND FOR THE CHIPPEWA BASIN <br /> CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In the best interest of public health and safety it is necessary to construct this retention <br /> basin. This basin will primarily aid in the prevention of flooding as well as pervention of <br /> sanitary sewer surcharging. The funds are available from Wastewater/Sewage Works Bond <br /> and Revenue Funds. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and ordered set apart <br /> from the Sewage Works Bond Fund (FUND 645), and the Wastewater Revenue Fund (FUND <br /> 642) for the project in the amount set forth below: <br /> FUND NO.
