NEW IBUSINESS <br />a. <br />continued.... <br />Mrs. Baumgartner continues... <br />They may apply for assistance in <br />rehabilitating both single family and <br />congregate housing (group homes) units. <br />All non - profit groups must provide a <br />copy of their charter under the State <br />of Indiana identifying them as a non- <br />profit group. Non- profit groups applying <br />for assistance in rehabilitating a <br />building to be used as a group home rmust <br />demonstrate; 1) that they have a proven <br />record of performance in working for <br />their group's goals; 2) that they have <br />experience in operating a group home <br />facility; 3) that they have a reliable <br />source of funding for continuing <br />administrative and program operation. <br />The grant amount has been increased to <br />$10,000. <br />Mr. Nimtz: What is the recommendation <br />of the Commission? I am willing to <br />approve this on the basis of the staff's <br />recommendation, but Mr. Robinson and <br />Ms. Auburn may have an academic interest <br />in this and may want to postpone it <br />until you have had a chance to study it. <br />Mr. Robinson: I feel you should listen <br />to sound advice. <br />Mr. Robinson made a motion to approve <br />the 1980 Revised Project Rehabilitation <br />Grant and Non - Profit Group Grant <br />Guidelines for the Bureau of Housing, <br />seconded by Ms. Auburn, and the motion <br />was unanimously carried. <br />b.
