South Beni. Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meting - April 11, 1980
7. PROGRtSS REPORTS
Mr. Ellison: I do want to make it clear
that we are not disinterested in
Mr. Kalman. He is, to the best of our
information, a rather substantial
d veloper. Certainly his credentials
are good and he has the financial
c pacity to do the building. Mayor Parent
iE very interested in keeping this firm
interested in this project, but the
Commission does have an obligation
tc make sure that we protect public
i terest as it relates to requiring
certain minimum information and certain
assurances that whatever they say they
will do can be done. The whole point
of the 30 -day exclusive negotiation
pTocess was to make sure that we
obtained those details so that the
Commissioners could be relatively
s isfied if we agreed to sell.
Ms. Derbeck: You said you wanted to
use an architecture firm that had not
been involved in the issue of the
OdJ Fellows Building. (Borger /Jones
Associates).
Z. Nimtz: That is correct, Borger /Jones
new to the project.
8.
