Solmos I Aardvark Construction $13,810.00 <br />1240 Lincolnjay West Company <br />Mr., 1cMahon: This is a request to amend a con- <br />tract that was previously awarded under the 312 <br />Loan Program. We previously awarded, on Septem <br />ber 12, 1980, a contract in the amount of <br />$17, 95.00. It has been requested by the Bureau <br />of H using to reduce this to $13,810.00, based <br />on i put from the property owner. <br />Mrs. Baumgartner: This particular loan was ap- <br />prow d on September 12, 1980, in the amount of <br />$17, 95.00. When this loan was submitted to HUD <br />it was requested that it be cut and it was also <br />the omeowner's wish that the amount be reduced. <br />It w s possible to reduce the loan to $13,810.00 <br />by c tting out things that were not code items. <br />Mr. ira: How did Aardvark Construction get that <br />bid t $17,295.00, and Shamrock was the low bid- <br />der f $17,170.00? <br />Mrs. Baumgartner: Shamrock submitted an incomplete <br />bid. <br />Mr. ira: By cutting this bid by $3,500.00, is <br />this house going to be livable? <br />Mrs. Baumgartner: Certainly. All the code items <br />will be taken care of, we just cut out cosmetic <br />item;. In a 312 Loan you are allowed up to 40% <br />of tie loan to be used for cosmetic items. <br />Mr.;, Robinson made a motion to approve the amended <br />cont act previously awarded under Section 312 Loan <br />Prod am. The motion was seconded by Mr. Cira and <br />unanimously carried. <br />12 <br />SECTION 312 LOAN PROGRAM <br />CONTRACT AMENDED. <br />
