One -half of the property <br />is vacant, the other half has a non - paying occu- <br />par t. The property has been vacant and rent <br />fr e for more than one year. <br />Mr, and Mrs. York are willing to purchase the build- <br />ing if they can secure tax abatement and economic <br />development bond financing. Without abatement they <br />can't go ahead. They have a firm bid in excess of <br />$90,000 to rehabilitate the building, including <br />in erior and exterior work. We feel it is an <br />ur an development area and request your approval. <br />Mr Nimtz: This building has had very hard wear <br />through the years. I can remember when it was <br />the bus depot during the war. It has had very <br />very hard wear through the years, and it does <br />need rehabilitating.
