Mr. Cook: As a developer in the area and a person who works in the area and lives close to the East Race area, perhaps redevelopment is not being gracious enough to themselves. Certainly there is greater interest in this area from a wider range of developers than there has been open for development. I hate to liken the East Race to a major highway, but vinat it does to the City is what a major highway does to its frontage because its frontage is very valuable in the respect of developing it into a multi- family high density residential, commercial, office area because it becomes such an attractive amenity. I think it is the most exciting thing that has e er happened. . Auburn: I agree. Mr. Butler: In drafting the resolution I m'sdesignated both the area and the plan. I refer to the "East Bank Urban Renewal Area" which should be "East Bank Development Area". I referred to the "Urban Renewal P an" and that should read "Development Plan".
