Nimtz: I think everybody knows I have <br />een predicting this situation for some <br />ionths. I believe when the Mayor was here <br />ome weeks ago, (when we loaned Mr. Ellison <br />o the Housing Authority to straighten out <br />ome problems), I said then that Mr. Ellison <br />s good and that it would be a matter of <br />onths or weeks before someone recognized <br />.is qualities, be it private industry or <br />usiness. It has now happened. We want <br />o congratulate Mr. Ellison on this <br />osition and wish him very, very well. <br />t will be good for his career and it <br />s a great opportunity for him. We are <br />ertainly going to miss him here. He has <br />one a terrific job in this department <br />nd he has been a trouble shooter in any <br />epartment of the city where there have <br />een problems. He just filled the bill <br />or the department when Mr. Wayne Brownell <br />eft us. The Chair would suggest that <br />he letter of resignation be accepted <br />ith regret. <br />-4 <br />
