PLEASANT STREET <br /> Dear Members of the Council: <br /> In accordance with Municipal Code Section 18-53.8, a favorable <br /> recommendation is being submitted to the Common Council concerning <br /> the Vacation Petition as Lawrence E. Prout, 1218 South 27th Street, <br /> South Bend, Indiana, to vacate the following alley: <br /> The first east/west alley south of E. Pleasant Street from the <br /> east right-of-way line of S. Twenty-seventh Street to the west <br /> right-of-way line of the first intersecting north/south alley <br /> east of S. Twenty-seventh Street for a distance of <br /> approximately 155 feet and a width of approximately 14 feet. <br /> Part located in Twin City Realty Subdivision of Lot C in the <br /> City of South Bend, Indiana. <br /> For your information, the Board of Public Works received favorable <br /> recommendations from the Police Department, Fire Department, <br /> Division of Engineering, Department of Community and Economic <br /> Development, Area Plan Commission and Division of Sanitation <br /> concerning this vacation.
