ORDINANCE NO. g540 17— <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $37, 000 . 00 FROM <br /> THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM IMPROVEMENT FUND <br /> FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING ADMINISTRATIVE EQUIPMENT <br /> AND PERFORMING VARIOUS REPAIRS AT THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> The Morris Civic Auditorium is owned by the City of South <br /> Bend and is managed under the control of the Century Center Board <br /> of Managers . The Century Center Board of managers on April 20, <br /> 1994, determined that it is in the best public interest to <br /> complete a number of capital improvement projects prior to the <br /> start of the next season and to fund those project with funds on <br /> deposit in the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund. There <br /> are currently over $200, 000 . 00 in the Morris Civic Auditorium <br /> Improvement Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION I . <br /> The amount of $37, 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated and ordered <br /> set apart within the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund for <br /> the purchase and installation of the following: <br /> PROJECT AMOUNT <br /> Clear-com Production Intercom System $ 11, 000 . 00 <br /> New Drapery for Stage $ 12, 000 . 00 <br /> New Hardware for Fire Doors $ 10, 000 . 00 <br /> Update of Security System $ 4, 000 . 00 <br /> TOTAL $ 37, 000 . 00 <br /> SECTION II . <br /> This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br /> after its passage by the Common Council and Approval by the <br /> Mayor. <br /> 40( / <br /> or 1/A <br /> el •er of Counl A <br />
