NEW <br />c. continued... <br />Mr. zarwark: Perhaps the Redevelopment Commission would <br />consider getting a committee together immediately to establish <br />local procedures and standards, so that future tax abatement <br />requ sts could be approved without further delay. <br />Mr. imtz: I do not think you need to tell this Commission how <br />to proceed. I think it would be appropriate to wait until the <br />new administration takes office in January before approving any <br />more tax abatement requests. <br />Mr, Robinson made a motion to delay consideration of the tax <br />abatEment request, relative to an area commonly referred to as <br />1007 East Sample Street, pending establishment of local procedures <br />and standards to go before the South Bend Common Council, seconded <br />by Mr. Cira, and the motion was unanimously carried. <br />d.
