WIJEREAS, this Board has heretofore submitted to the Common Council rolls of Sayer and Water connections on Marion and Burroughs street from Miclliga.n street to Michigan avenue; Clinton street from South street to Sample street; La Salle avenue from Taylor street to La Porte a.vcnue, and on Madison street from Michigan street to Marion street, which said rolls were approved, and, WHEREAS, notification of said connections has been made by publication xs required by lay; provided and the twenty days therein provided having expiredt, Be it resolved by the Board of Public Works that bids for said work be received on the 28th. day of April A. '.19 0 3, at 10 a.m. and that notice of :~ueh receiving of bids be published in the Daily Tines . nd Daily Tribune on the 15th. day and on the 22-nd. day of April, respectively. Contracts -~ igned and bonds for said improvements of Marion , La, Salle ipxe. , and Clinton accepted and approved. Bids -received for the grade, curb s,nd walks on Dayton street, Indiana, Avenue,° Milton street, Woodward avenue, De Maude avenue, Allen street, Calvert street, and California ave.and se',Me referred to Tr,;ineer 'or tabulation. ° Assessment roll and final estinate for Franklin street Sewer under Improvement Resolution 4P-9. Resolved that notices as to the amount of assessments be published in Daily Times and the Daily Tribune for siX consecutive days beginning on the 15th. day of April, 12-03, stating thfit this Board will give a hearing on the amount'of assessment on -the 5 th. clay of May, 1903 at 7;15 P.m. Resolved .further, that the entire work under the above contract be accepted Fend approved and the final estimate be allowed.
