325 :Tuna 19,1902• The Coope-rative Investnen* Co.,beinS desirous of having water mains laid in Bowman s Fifth Addition on Bowman Street;Resolved by the Board that if said company would furnish and donate the pipe and lead and materials and fittings to the city for the necessary extension the board would. cause the same to be put in as soon as practicable;upon the condition that said company deposit the sum of �772.84 with the city treasurer to the credit of the water rents fund before the commencement of the work, such, sum being estimated cost of such materiaals,and said board to return the ex- cess to said company in case the said materials -cost leas than the es- t imate ;also upon the further condition that such extension when completed shall become a part of the public water system of said city, Application of -Charles C•Reinking for city hall janitor filed. En`,inee r reported a grade for the first alley south of Division Street between William and Franklin Streets,also the north and south in- tersecting alley. Engineer reported specifications for pipe sewers on East LaSaLle Avenue,Bridgre Street and Sycamore Street. Also for cobble stone gutters on Kemble avenue from Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue. IAMLIROVEMENT RESOLUTION N0.81. Resolved &y the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,Indiaxla That an improvement be made of the kind,size,location and terminal points as follwws;A local pipe sewer on LaSalle Avenue from Emerick Street to Sycamore Street,thence south on Sycamore Street to the St. Joseph River;also on Bridge Street from Colfax Avenue to LaSalle Avenue. Said improvement shall be known as "LaSalle Avenue Sewer",and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer,filed.Ip rewith.Notice of this resolution and pro- posals for bids for the execution of the above wor_C. shall be published on the 20 day of June and on the 27 day of June,1902, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times -The Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 1 day of July,1902 at 7:15 p.r.,and will receive bids up to 10a.m. on the 8 ;_day of July,1902.
