M. <br />The Board again took -up --the assessment roll and final estimate hearing on the <br />Wenger street curb, under Improvement Resolution No. 41 such hearing being postponed <br />hearing of December 30th 1901. A committee of property owners appeared before the Board <br />and again remonstrated against the acceptance of the final -estimate and the confirmation <br />of the assessment roll The City Engineer reported that the work had not yet been put 'in <br />a satisfactory condition and had received no substantial changes since the Boardlast in- <br />spected it. The Board accordingly find that the confirmation of this assessment roll and <br />final estimate should be postponed until Tuesday July ist 1902 at 7:15 P. M The board <br />find that if the work is not satisfactory to the Board and Engineer on that date it will <br />be necessary for the board to readvertise for bids and do the work again. <br />Bearing upon the following street improvements: The grading of Eddy and Mish- <br />awaka, streets,, the Harrison Avenue. -Van Buren street, Dayton street and Fellowsstreet <br />improvements, under Improvement .Resolutions Nos. 62, '63) 640 65, and 66 respectively. In <br />regard to Improvement Resolution No. 62, at tl e suggestion of property owners at the hear- <br />ing, the board decided to add cement curbing and the engineer having presented specifi- <br />cations for such curbing at the time this resolution was adopted the board accordingly <br />do hereby incorporate the construction of cement curbing into this improvement resolution; <br />no remonstrators having appeared said improvement resolution No. G2 is accordingly con- <br />firmed. The engineer filed the estimated cost of such improvement, including the cement <br />curbs, at 4300.00 In regard to -the improvements represented by resolutions 03, 64t 65 <br />and 66 no remonstrators appeaud and no remonstrances were filed. The engineer riled the <br />estimated costs as follows: For Harrison Avenue �'511.40 For Van Buren street 1972.00 <br />''or Dayton street 2550.00 Far Fellows street 250.00 In all of the above cases <br />including Improvement Resolution No. 62 as ruodi f ie d the board find that the benefits, <br />including -the benefits to the city,, are in each case equal to the estimated cost of the <br />respective improvements. <br />President. --"�, <br />
