March F1*6, z 1902. <br />Engineer reported <br />drawings and <br />specifications for <br />the Dubail Avenue <br />sewer from <br />Michigan to Carroll .street, <br />the Indiana <br />Avenue sewer from <br />Michigan street to <br />Carroll <br />street, and the Prairie Avenue sewer from Sample street to Ewing Avenue. <br />IkTROVENENT RESOLUTION NO. 55. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That <br />an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: The <br />construction of a local pipe sewer on Dubail Avenue from the south Michigan street <br />sewer to a point 1000 feet east near Carroll street. Said improvement shall be• known <br />and designated as "Dubail Avenue Sewer" and shall be constructed according to the plans <br />and specifications prepared by the 6ity Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this <br />resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published <br />on the 11 day of March and on the 18 day of March 1902, in the South Bend Daily Tribune <br />and in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at <br />its office in the City I3all on the 1 day of April 1902, at 7:15 P. M. and will receive <br />bids up to 10 A. Said improvement <br />shall be known and designated as " Prairie Avenue Sewer" and shall be constructed accord <br />ir_g to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. <br />Notice of this resolution_ and proposals for bids for the execution of the above work <br />shall be published on the 11 day of Larch and on the 18 day of March 1902, in the South <br />Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on <br />this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 1 day of April 1902 at 7:15 P. H. <br />and will receive bids up to 10 A. M. on the 8 day of April 1902. <br />Petition filed for brick pavement on W. Monroe street from Scott to Chapin <br />streets. In the opinion of the Board this street should be paved with macadam as the <br />travel on the same is light and the cost would be much less. <br />Petition filed for the construction of a local pipe sewer on Napier street from <br />Chapin to Laurel streets. Referred to the Engineer for specifications. <br />
