MR February 3, '%1902 ° Bids received for supplying the city with crosswalk lumber. Lowest bid was from G. W. Phillips as follows: 10 and 12 foot lenghi.s 21.00 per M. 14 foot lengths. 22.00 per M. to foot lengths. 24.00 per M. Above prices aceeptable..Clerk instructed to notify fir: Phillips to come in`dnd sign up Contract. Engineer requested to prepare drawings and a plan of south Eddy street from Grand Trunk Western R. R. to the Sample street bridge and to report such.a::grade for the street as will make a proper approaeh to the new bridge. Engineer reported drawings and specifications for following Improvements: Cent sidewalk on Sibley Avenue between Johnson and Wilbur streets; also `on College street between Linden and Longley Avenues; also on Diamond Avenue between Laporte and Michigan Avenues; also on the west side of Witwer Avenue between Indiana and Dubail Avenues; also for cement walks and curbs on Rush street between L.S.& M:-S.R.R. and South street. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION "10. 50. Resolved by the =Boar:='_ of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size location and terminal points as follows: Con- struction of cement walks on each side of Sibley Avenue from,the East line of Johnson street to the west line of Wilbur street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "Sibley Avenue Sidewalks" and shall be constructed according to ,the plans and specifi- cationsprepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed. herewith. Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on the'4th day of February and on the 11 day of February 1902 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily_Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its offi- r,e in the City Hall on the 18th day of February 1902 at 7:15 P. M. and will receive bids up to 10 A. M. on the 25 day of February 1902. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 51. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size location and terminal points as follows: Con- struction of cement walks on each side of College street from the North line of Linden Avenue to the South line of Longley Avenue. Said improvement shall be known and desig- nated a.s College Street. Sidewalks" and shah be --onstructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this res- olution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on -the 4th day of February and on the llth day of February 1902 in the South Bend Daily 'Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times.' This Board will give a rearing on this resolu- tion at its office in the City Hall on the 18th day of February 1902 at 7:15 P. M. and vd will receive bids up to 10 A. M. on the 25 day of February 1902.
