M. <br />Hearing on.Vacation Resolution No. 8,adopted on February 3rd 1902 for the re`. <br />location of Pennsylvania Avenue between Madison and High Streets,._ No remonstrators app- <br />eared and no remonstrances were filed against the proposed vacation. The Board declare <br />the following described part of said Penns-lvania Avenue vacated: All that portion of <br />Pennsylvania <br />Avenue <br />contained between the <br />second <br />angle east <br />of High street as <br />now located <br />and the west <br />line of <br />YI,aihinstreet, being <br />a strip <br />of land 00 <br />feet wide running <br />as follows: <br />beginning; at said second angle east of High street, running thence south 75-1/2 degrees <br />east 313-1/2 feet, thence north 89-3/4 degrees east to the west line of Miami street. <br />Now comes Martin L. Wenger and waives notice as to assessments and awards and hearings <br />as to such assessments and awards under this vacation resolution. Said Wenger having <br />already dedicated to the city a strip of ground to take the place of the strip herein <br />vacated, the board find that no.assessments or awards shall be made. Said Wenger is owner <br />of all land adjacent to and within 150 feet of said part of Pennsylvania Avenue on the <br />north and south sides thereof and in the opinion of the Board is the only person inter- <br />ested in or affected by these proceedings. <br />Hearing upon the following improvements: <br />Sibley,,Avenue College street, . Rush Istreet;, Niles Avenues Corby street, St. Peter <br />street, Diamond Avenue and Witwer Avenue, under Improvement Resolution 47, 4810 49, 50, 51, <br />521 53 and 54 respectively. Owing to uncertainty as to whether the Common Council will <br />see fit to appropriate more money for the City's share of street improvements this year. <br />the Board find that this hearing should be postponed until the Council has acted upon this <br />matter, accordingly this hearing is postponed until Tuesday: birch 38th;at <br />31. do; for the_ execution of this work under the above improvements will not be opened on <br />February 25th but on March 25th 1902. <br />President. <br />
