-'ember 12_` 1901• <br />In ,regard to Orange street opening, clerk reported that Napomocyna Koteras <br />could not be found, that the house formerly occupied by him was empty and that no person <br />of age or discretion could be found. on the premises. He was also informed that said KQter- <br />as was not a non-resident .but still lived in South Bend. Board was further informed that <br />said Koteras was in Michigan City prison. Ordered that a notice as to the amount of asses - <br />went against said Koteras be sent at once to the prison warden with request that same be <br />read to Koteras. Board were further informed that one Henry Schultz was owner of this pro- <br />perty although County revords show Koteras to be the owner it was ordered that said <br />Schultz be sent a notice of the amount of assessment. Board was further informed that <br />Chris Fassnacht was not interested in these proceedings having sold to Martha J. Inwood. <br />Ordered that Clerk immediately serve a notice on said Martha J. Inwood that the amo_.,nt of <br />her assessment was $60.00 Board were further informed that the assessment for Ella Calvert <br />for all except 102 feet off the East end and except 18.165 feet North and South by 100 ft <br />in the South west corner and except Bernhard of Lot 25 in College Grove Addition, should <br />be against Joseph B. Arnold. Although the County records show this property to be in the <br />name of Ella Calvert it was ordered to send said Joseph B. Arnold a notice of assessment <br />in sum of $180.00 <br />President. <br />
