November nl 1901. <br />Lease signed by Board,' Mayor and City Clerk for strip of ground in front of Lot <br />70 Commissioner's Sub., the property of the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway Co. <br />at yearly rental of 1.00 Copy of lease with attached plat 'No. 11399 filed. <br />South Bend Electric Co. notified to put in a midnight lamp midway between Ford <br />and Division streets on Pulaski street. <br />Petition for electric lamps on South Eddy street referred to street commissioner <br />for a report. <br />Contract for improvement of the Fuerbringer alley under improvement Resolution <br />No. 42 signed with Side rs Brothers. <br />Bids for garbage crematory based upon the instalation of the same in the old <br />water works pumping station opened at 10 A. M. Pierce LaChapelle 0 6000.00, Davis <br />Garbage Furnace Co. $ 6000.00, Dixon Garbage Crematory Co. $ 5988.00. The above bids <br />differed considerably in details and did not all include the same amount of labor and <br />materials. The Board therefore reserved its decision as to which bid was the best until <br />investigation and comparisons can be made. <br />South Bend Electric Co. notified to put midnight lamps at corner of Henrietta <br />St and Prairie Avenue and Leeper and Niles Avenue. <br />President. <br />
