tober 4.. 1901- <br />City Treasurer requested to mark the Lafayette street sewer connection assess - <br />rent of Charles Coonley of $9.63 paid. Charles Coonley has this day agreed to pay this <br />amount in case he uses this connection. <br />Resolved that the prima facie assessments for paving improvements be upon the <br />basis that the City will pay for all street and alley intersections. This to apply to the <br />following improvements: North Lafayette, North Michigan, Navarre, LaSalle, Mill and Napier. <br />The Board have come to this conclusion because of the fact that petitioners above <br />improvements signed the petitions for the same before the adopt on::by the='B€ Ard=•of vc he new <br />method of street assessments. Street improvements which were petitioned for after the <br />adoption of the new method of assessment will be apportioned according to the new method <br />whereby the City does not pay for street and alley intersections except where in the <br />opinion of the Board of Public Works the City will derive some special benefits therefrom. <br />Resolved that bills <br />not presented before <br />the <br />third <br />of the month <br />will <br />not be <br />paid <br />until the following month. The <br />resolution of April <br />5th, <br />1903�2 <br />fixing such <br />time <br />as the <br />5th <br />of the month, is hereby revoked. <br />Clerk instructed to give Mrs. A. B. Merritt a deed to Lot 36, Block 8, Range 1 <br />East, in the City cemetery. <br />President. <br />
