186 <br />October 29. 1901. 7415 P. 14. <br />Hearing upon the award of $50.00 to Lucretia Creed in proceedings under Comdem- <br />nation Resolution No.3 for the widening of south Main street. Lucretia Creed presented <br />a remonstrance against the amount of her award on ground that it was to small and that t <br />the Board had not considered the market value of the strip nor the remainder of her land. <br />The Board however find that the award should be confirmed. -and that the amount of $50 00 <br />be tendered to Lucretia Creed to be paid out of the City Treasury as benefits accruing <br />to the City. Clerk instructed to tender to Lucretia Creed in person a' certificate or, <br />voucher for $50.00 and to tell said Lucretia Creed that the same will be honored by the <br />City Comptroller upon presentation at any time. <br />Hearing as to amount of assessments and upon the final estimates for the west <br />Madison street pipe sewer and the west Washington street cement sidewalks, under Imp'- <br />rovement Resolutions 33 and 34 respectively. No remonstrators appeared. The assessment <br />rolls, filed upon October 17, 1901, and the final estimates allowed upon the same date, <br />are hereby confirmed. <br />Hearing upon the amount of assessments and upon the final estimates for the.. <br />water connections on Napier street, from Scott to Chapin streets, and on north Lafayette <br />street from Colfax Avenue to Navarre street. No remonstrators appeared as to Napier s re <br />street, but one Collar appeared and objected to the acceptance of the work on north Laf- <br />ayette street. The assessment roll filed upon October 18, 1901, for Napier Street and. <br />the final estimate, allowed upon the same date, is hereby confirmed. But the confirmation <br />of the North Lafayette street work is hereby withheld until November 12th, 1901 for <br />another hearing at 7 :15 P' M. on that date. <br />Hearing on Condemnation Resolution No-4-for appropriating the property of Franklin Reese <br />and George Hodson for the opening of Orange street through to Birdsell street -No remon- <br />strators appeared. The board declare the following described property condemned for the <br />purpose of said street opening: a part of Lot 3 in Arnold and Pagin's Subdivision of <br />State Bank Outlots 80 and 81, described as follows; beginning at the north east corner <br />of said Lot 3, thence south 37.8 feet, thence Nest to the West line of said lot, thence <br />North 37.4 feet, thence Least to the Place -of; -beginning, the property of Franklin Reese. <br />Also a part of Lot 4 in Arnold and Pagin's Subdivision of State Bank Outlots 80 and 81, <br />described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast Corner of said lot, thence North 28.2 <br />feet, thence West to the West line of said, lot, thence South 28.6 feet to the South line <br />of said lot, thence East to the place of beginning, the property of George Hodson. <br />
