October 1. 1901. <br />Assessment rolls and final estimates filed for College street cement curb and <br />grading, under Improvement Resolution No 13• Also West dater street brick pave- <br />meat' improvement, under Improvement Resolution No. 14. Resolved that notices as <br />to the amounts of assessments be published in the South Bend Daily Tribune and <br />in the South Bend Daily Times for six successive days beginning on the 2nd day <br />of October, 1901, stating that this Board will give a hearing as to the amount of <br />assessments on the 15th day of October, 1901, at 7:15 P. M. Resolved further that <br />the entire work under the contracts for the above improvements be accepted and app- <br />roved and the final estimates therefore allowed. Notice of this resolution shall <br />be published in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times on the <br />2nd day of October 1901, stating that this Board will give a hearing on such final <br />estimates on October 15th, 1901 at 7:15 P. M. <br />Engineer reported grade for the alley north of Fuerbringers 3rd Addition* <br />Seine adopted and approved. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 42. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That <br />an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Grading <br />the alley running east and west between Michigan Avenue and Fuerbringer street, from <br />Kankakee Avenue to the alley west of Harrison Avenue. Said improvement shall be known and <br />designated as"Grading alley in Fuerbringer's 3rd Addition" and shall be constructed accor- <br />ding to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. <br />Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the exeeuton.of the above work shall <br />be published on the 2 day of October and on the 9 day of October 1901, in the South Bend <br />Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this <br />resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 15 day of October 1901, at 7:15 P. M. <br />and will receive bids up to 10 Ag M. on the 17 day of October 1901• <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 6. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That <br />it is desirable to vacate the following: Beginning at the north-east corner of lot 20 in <br />Miller's Addition to the City o- South Bend, running thence north6.45 feet, thence north- <br />west with the present north line of the alley 9.3 feet, thence due west to the south line <br />of the present alley, thence south-east along the south line of said alley to the place <br />of beginning, being a part of the alley lying between lots 1 in Witheri.il's Addition to <br />the City of South Bend, and lot 20 in Miller's Addition to the City of South Bend. The <br />following property may be injurously or beneficially affected by such vacation. Lot 1 <br />Witherill's Addition, owned by J. G. Wunderlich, Lot 20 Miller's Addition, owned by Swan <br />J.
