1901. Engineer presented the roll of property owners affected by and interested in the condemnation of property under Condemnation.Resolu.tion No 1, passed April 13, 1901. Same was filed and approved. The board fixed the assessments and awards under such res- olution as follows: Elisha Peck and.Hannah Peek, award,$1200.00 Margaret 0oller, ass- essments- A 25-00 Edward Luther, assessment,$25.00 Clerk instructed to deliver to each person named on said roll a written notice showing the amount of the assessment or award against such person. Such notice shall be delivered personally and in case the person cannot be found the Clerk shall leave a copy of such notice at the -last usual place of residence of such person. Resolved that -on July l6th at 7:15 P.M. this board will give a hearing as to the amount of such awards and assessments. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO 33. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,Indiana That an improvement be made of the kind, sizes location and terminal points as follows: The construction of a sewer on Madison street from a point about 115 feet west of the west line of Lafayette street to the manhole in the Marion street sewer at the intersection of Marion and Madison streets. Said improvement shall be known and designated as'T,,Xddison Street Sewer" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of.this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on the 5 day of July and on the 12 day of July 1901, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 23 day of July 1901, at 7:15 P.M., and w ill receive bids up to 10A.M* on the 30 day of July, 1901. 51.1 Engineer reported specifications for a sewer on Madison street between Lafayet. and Marion streets.
