901. 7:15 P.M. <br />First hearing on the Napier street improvement under Improvement Resolution No. <br />30 No remonstrators appeared. The Engineer filed the estimated cost,$2232.56 The Board <br />find that the benefits, including the benefits to the City, are equal to the estimated <br />cost of the improvement. Improvement Resolution No. 30 confirmed. <br />First hearing on the paving of the alley east of Michigan street between Vistula <br />Avenue and Jefferson street, ,under Improvement Resolution No. 29 Remonstrance against <br />above improvement filed by majority of property owners. The Engineer filed the estimated <br />cost, $874.87 The Board find that the benefits, including the benefits to the City, are <br />not equal to the estimated cost of the improvement. Improvement Resolution No. 29 is here— <br />by rescinded. <br />First hearing on the improvement of west Division street, under Improvement <br />Resolution No. 31 Remonstrance was filed against the improvement. The engineer filed the <br />estimated cost, $2460.00 The board find that the above Improvement Resolution should be <br />modified as follows: The construction of cement curbing on west Division street from the <br />west line of Laurel street to the east line of Olive street. As modified such Improvement <br />Resolution is hereby confirmed. As modified the board find that the benefits, including <br />the benefits to the City will be equal to the estimated cost of the improvement. <br />Hearing as to the amount of assessments and upon the final estimate for the <br />Saint Peter sewer, under Improvement Resolution No. 19.-No remonstrators appeared. The <br />assessment roll, filed on July 9th and the final estimate, allowed on July Oth, are hereby <br />confirmed. <br />Nearing as to the amount of awards and assessments under Condemnation Resolution <br />No. 1, passed on April 1311 1901. Elisha Peck and Hannah Peck and their attorney appeared. <br />Margaret Goller and Edward Luther also appeared, all parties remonstrated against their <br />respective assessments and awards. The Board however find that such assessments and awards <br />should be substained. <br />President. <br />
