84 ValvPAft Remonstrance of Samuel Beek and Harriet Beck and Charles and Lillian Kreighbaum against assessment for the Dore .Avenue sewer filed. Frank M. Jackson authorized to finish his contract on Edward street under the proceedings of the Common Council for the improvement of said street. Contract signed with Siders Brothers for the Midway street grading under Imp- rovement Resolution No. 18. Grading at .17 cents per cubic yard. Bond of Thomas Williams approved. Contract of L. H. Webster for the Saint Peter street sewer under Improvement Resolution No. 191, signed. Bond of William and John Siders approved. Bids for the improvement of Mill street opened and turned over to the Engineer for tabulation. Engineer presented the grade for Mill street. Same:. approved and filed. Resolved that the entire work under the contract for the sewer connections on west Washington street from Walnut street to Circle Avenue be accepted and approved and the final estimate therefor allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times for six successive days, begin - ping on the 19 day of June 1901, stating that this board will give a hearing on this res- olution on the 25 day of June 1901 at 7:15 P.M. Assessment Roll for the above sewercon- nections filed. Resolved that this Board will give a hearing as to the amount of assess- ments on the 25 day of June 1901 at 7:15 P.M. and that notices as to the amount of assess- ments be published for six successive days, beginning on the 19 day of June 1901, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times.
