MAY 3. I90'I . City, attorney requested to give the board an opinion as to the duty of the Grand Trunk R.R. to gravel Division street or to keep said street in proper condition. Also to prosecute said company for failure to provide a light at the corner Of Division and Columbia streets. Petition of Mary L• Kaley for the establishment of a grade for Oli#e street from the L.S.and M.S. R.R. Co.tracks to Michigan Avenue referred to the engineer. Contract for the west Division street sewer from Laurel to Arnold and from . Walnut street to the Singer sewer completed and the assessment roll filedthis day. Ordered that notices as to the amount of assessments be published in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times from May 6th.to Ilth.
