South Bend Electric Co. notified to immediately raise their pole on the south west corner of Main and Madison streets so as not interfere with shade trees. Contract for cement curbs on Elder street awarded to T.C.Barnes and son. Contract for grading B street and the construction of cement sidewalk-s and curbs awarded to H.N.Barnes. Assessment Roll for paving the alley off of the north side.of lots 312 and 313 in the Original Plat of the Town now City of South Bend, filed. Ordered that notices as to special benefits be published on May 20 to 25 inclusive, stating that this Board at its office..in the City Hall will give a hearing as to special benefits or the 28 day of May, 190li at 7:15 P.M. Resolved that the entire work under the contract for the paving of the alley off of the'north side of lots 312 and 313 in the Original Plat of the Town now City of South Bend, be accepted and approved and the final estimate therefor allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 18 day of May,1901, stating that this Board at its office in the City Hall will give a hearing on this resolution on May 28,1901,at 7:15 P.M. Michigan Central R.R.Co.instructed to place an electric light at their crossing at the intersection -of Niles and Crescent Avenues.
