ATIMYT .,T2 T[1f1T Engineer reported drawings and specifications and survey preliminzxy to condemning a - fifty foot strip for a street from north Michigan to north Lafayette street. CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION NO.I• Resolved by the Board of Public Works., -,!of the City of South Bend Indiana: that the- fullowing described property be appropriated for the use of said City: Beginning at the - north west corner of Vinson's subdivision of State Bann Outlot No -One Hundred Twenty One- ( I2I).,running thence east parallel with the north line of Bartlett street as platted and - laid out between -Michigan and Lafayette street,to the west line of Michigan street, thence north fifty (50) feet along the west line of Michigan street, thence west to a point on the east line of Lafayette street fifty (50) feet north of the beginning point, thence south -- fifty 150) feet to the .place of 'beginning, excepting the part of Main street included in the. above description already dedicated and used for street purposes, the property of Elisha.. ,Peck and .Hannah Peck P excepting the aforesaid part of Main street already dedicated. The. purpose of such appropriation is a street fifty (50) feet in width north and south from - north Michigan street to north Lafayette street. The following described property will be. beneficially affected: All of Bank Outlot No. I20, the property of Elisha Peck, excepting a. strip ten feet wide along the east side thereof .A:' strip ten feet wide along the east side, of Bank Outlot I202the property of Hannah Peck. A strip of ground ten feet wide along the, crest side of Bank Outlot I25,the property of Hannah Peck. Also a strip of 8round thirty. (30) feet wide along the east side of Bank Outlot I25,the property of Hannah Peck. All of Bank, Outlot I25,the property of Elisha Peck,excepting ten feet `along the west side thereof and. thirty feet along the east side thereof property of Hannah Peck. All of Bann Outlots 117. IIB, and II9 that lie. east of the east line of the first alley west of north Lafayette street continued north to the Saint Joseph River. Lot No. 8 in Vinson's subdivision of Outlot 121 the property of Margaret roller. Lot No. I in Vinson's subdivison of Outlot I2I, the property of Edward Luther. Lots 22 to 29 inclusive in Rockstroh Brothers Addition to the City of South Bend,the property of the City of South_ Bend -All of Bank Outlot 184 lying north of Bartlett's second subdivision of Bank Outlot I24,excepting a strip ten feet wide along the west side thereof and a strip thirty(30) feet wide along the east side thereof the property of Elisha Peck; also the above excepted strip ten feet wide along the west side of said Outlot 124, and the above excepted strip thirty (30) feet wide along the east side of said Outlot I24, the property of Hannah Peck. The following _described property will be injuriously affected: All of the above described real estate, the property of Elisha Peck and Hannah Peck. Notice of this resolution shall be published in the South Bend Daily Tribune on the 15 th. dak of April and on the 22nd.day of April, I901. This board at its office in the City Hall on the 7th. day of May I90I at 7: I5 P.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. The purpose of such appropriation Is _ a fifty foot street running east and west from north Michigan to north Lafayette streets. Ordered that $ 39.80. be paid to WiLlard Marble for a dedication of the following: A strip of ground 8 feet wide along, the west side of Lot 21 in Heintzman's Addition to the City of South Bend. Dedication by John Kue spe rt, Be rnhart Hanger and Willard Marble. Treasurer instructed to credit Anton Qruse$ 8.24 for an excessive assessment on south Chapin street brick pavement improvement.
