Engineer reported drawings and specifications for grading "B"street in Cushings Addition from Michigan Avenue to the north end of "B"street,aljo for constructing cement curbs and sidewalks on said street. Engineer reported drawings and specifications for a cement curb on Elder street on both sides from Michigan street to Carroll:_streetw Permission granted W.H.Kin-sley to run a 6 inch.pilre sewer from the center of the intersection of Carroll and Priscilla streets to the rear end of lot 10 Hutchins Adc ition.also to W.H.Kingsleyand C.C.Lindsey to eurb lots 9and10 Hutchins Addition under supervision of City Engineer. IMPROVEMENT BESOLUTION NO 9. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend.Indiana:that an improvement be made of the kind,size.location and terminal points as_follows:The grading-, ef� `B"street in Cushings Addition from Michigan. Avenue to the north end of "B"streeto also the construction of cement sidewalks and cement curbs on both sides of said street except where the same are already in. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "B"STREET CEMENT AND GRADE" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specific. - l c _tions prepared by the City Civil Engineer filed herewith. Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published OU the 15 day of April and on the 22 day of April 1901,in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hear--.g on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 7th day of May 1901,at 7:15P*M.and will receive bids up to 7P.Moon the 14th day of May 1901.1W L.S. and Y.S. R.R. Co. notified to plank the crossing on Miami street over entire width of right of way. Engineer instructed to prepare drawings and specifications for grading Midway St from the west line of Fellows street to the east line of Miami street.
